history

In 1991, Milan Ceramic was established by PT. Wings Surya, a well known brand for consumer goods, under the name of PT. Adyabuana Persada. Built on 13 hectares of land and located in Surabaya (second largest city in Indonesia), PT. Adyabuana Persada is mainly focused on producing floor tile and wall tile.

Because of the positive respond PT. Adyabuana Persada has gotten from the market, within a relatively short period of time, PT. Adyabuana Persada has been able to increase its capacity from 2 kilns to 4 kilns.

However, fulfilling the demand for ceramic tile nationally is our global manufacture goal. Depending on one manufacture that is located in east of Indonesia to supply the whole Indonesia market with a competitive price is seemed to be ineffective. Keeping that in mind, PT. Wings Surya felt the need to open a new plant in Jakarta to supply west Indonesia market. In 1997, a new plant was founded under the name of PT. Sarana Griya Lestari Keramik and was built on 16 hectares of land about 50 kilometers east Jakarta with a capacity of 2 jumbo kilns. A year later, PT. Saranagriya Lestari Keramik has increased its capacity to 3 jumbo kilns.
